Connections to my other installations work perfectly.Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can explain why a fixed polling interval is necessary on this server while my other installations work properly with default settings, and provide us with a better solution.After such a refresh I sometimes get a few more seconds where everything works again but very soon the screen again stops refreshing.

I generally have to go in and change the settings for that particular session manually to force the number of colors down and also to change the encoding. Or you might want to try a different version of VNC to see if that helps any...

also, check your server-side settings to see if you're set to poll the desktop for changes or if you're using VNC Hooks.
